SoCode have been retained by a Global Healthtech comany to appoint their new VP Engineering in a new dynamic role as the company continues its hypergrowth curve in the UK.
Working alongisde the CTO you will be responsible for a Global Engineering remit and as such be comfortable working with Engineering professionals at many levels dispersed primarily across US, UK and Ukraine. Our client is a major player in the Telemedicine space and will be landing in the UK in 2023.
Our client saw demand grow exponentially as a result of the COVID pandemic, and delivering on the demand levels is key to unlocking their potential.
This is a fully hands off role - so significant Leadership achievements will be requred.
The new VP Engineeirng will be responsible for the following:
- Attract, Hire and Develop a Full Stack Engineering team from scratch in the UK geography, centralised around London, UK.
- Work cross functionally and globally to ensure Engineering Process and Best Practices
- Motivating and Inspiring Engineers Globally
- Large Team of c40 and Growing
You should be comfortable operating with Engineers and at Board Level when required.
Although not hands on, you should be able to be involved in architecture and critical product decisions - offering a strong and informed view at to the future of the product.
The successful candidate will ideally be living in London and surrouds, due to the start up nature of the operations in the UK and requirement to meet other senior stakholders from time to time although as the company scales, the Engineers will be more geographically dispersed.
As our client is in the Tech For Good space, this should also be a shared passion.
