Service Delivery Manager required to work with an IT Consultancy. This is an exciting permanent opportunity, paying up to £55000 working on a hybrid basis.
Summary:You will have overall accountability for prioritisation of day-to-day team resource and monitoring performance, escalation of issues, driving and managing team outcomes and objectives to internal team members and our clients.
Main Responsibilities:- Prioritise team workload and allocate work to the team in line with requirements from clients.
- Ensure incidents and requests are completed in a timely manner and projects allocated to the relevant team.
- General management of the team, providing day to day direction and support; ensuring high motivation of staff.
- Conduct all staff administrative duties such as shift rotas, 121s, attendance procedures, appraisals, and coaching sessions.
- Provide updates on workloads to staff and the Head of Programmes and Service Delivery.
- Provide comprehensive reporting of individual and team performance against KPI's; ensuring shortfalls in performance are recognised and appropriate corrective actions are progressed.
Essential Experience Required:- Experience of managing a service desk
- Project Management
- Sound knowledge and experience of supporting range of IT applications, platforms, and technologies
- Knowledge and understanding of best practice framework (such as ITIL, ISO20k) for the delivery of IT services
Desirable Experience Required:- Experience of initiating and delivering service improvement projects
- Experience of managing an IT support service within a Health and Justice environment.
