Highfield Professional Solutions are working with a leading Water and Utilities company the recruitment of a Planner to initially contribute, monitor and aid development of all aspects of a STW programme.

Key Responsibilities

In this exciting Planner role, you'll initially play a key role within the sewer treatment works AMP7 resilience project, working closely with our Senior Planner, to aid delivery to time and budget. At this complex civils and MEICA project, you play a key role to ensure that the programme is, communicated, reviewed, monitored, and efficiently delivered across all stages of the project planning life cycle, supporting the project management team through construction and handover.

This is a site-based role, where you'll work closely with the operational team to help plan the sequence of work, explore, and develop "what-if" and mitigation scenarios, contributing to a key stage of the project. You'll also monitor, collect and provide key short term planning data to support the project and business unit control and reporting.

What are we looking for?

You'll have a:

• Demonstrable experience in contract planning for a main contractor, including contribution to and execution of change management
• Experience within a civils water project, with complex constraints and MEICA is desirable
• Be able to accurately monitor a programme of works, challenging, contributing, maintaining records of change, trends, and variances, and be able to communicate and adapt to the same
• Competency within Primavera P6
• Proactive mind-set with good communication and problem-solving skills
• Previous operational site delivery background is also desirable
