We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer, with a good understanding of Composites manufacturing and assembly processes.

• Good knowledge of composite materials & processes.
• Ability to define, modify & maintain manufacturing process documentation, including WIS, COS, ECR & PPAP.
• Production / shopfloor support.
• Experience of using / implementing Lean Sigma and Quality tools.
• Innovative and wanting to continually improve the manufacturing process.

Complementary description

You will work closely with other functional departments, particularly Production, Quality & Engineering, to ensure robust techniques & controls are put in place & aligned with SAFRAN processes, communicating opportunities to develop most efficient ways to use people, parts and tooling, working with the cross functional team to implement & measure these changes.

Job requirements

• HNC in a relevant engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Experience of working with 3D models & 2D drawings.
• SAP (or equivalent ERP system) knowledge.
• Knowledge of APQP & PPAP documentation.
• Risk management using PFMEA.
• Support the dispositioning of manufacturing non-conformances and definition of associated repair solutions.
• Structured problem solving including 8D, RCCA, QRQC etc.
