Vision for Education are recruiting for a School Receptionist and Administration Assistant for a secondary school in the Tameside area. This is full-time to start in January, ongoing with the potential for permanent post for the right candidate. About the role Working on reception and providing administrative support for students, parents and staff, you will be a highly organised individual able to prioritise workload and work to strict deadlines. Duties will include answering queries both face-to-face and over the telephone alongside administrative duties including writing reports, updating databases and filing systems. You will need an efficient and helpful demeanour and an ability to think on your feet as well as excellent communication skills. Experience in a similar role and a knowledge of SIMS (School Information Management System) is essential as is a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office. The role is full-time, 37 hours per week.
