Open for a Perm Engineering / Welding Lecturer Start ASAP. Enhanced DBS on the update service. Salary up to £48,000 (qualified level 5 teaching and above). The successful candidate will teach across a variety of Engineering courses from level 1-3 including automotive. You will be able to deliver engaging and interactive theory sessions that motivate learners and link to industry, along with delivering practical sessions in a workshop. You will put teaching, learning and assessment at the forefront of everything you do and aspire to excellence in all areas of work. The successful candidate will value the learner experience and be a strong role model for our learners. The ideal candidate will be highly effective at managing time, meeting deadlines and be confident that they can contribute to and improve our team. You will need to hold appropriate professional qualifications and have experience in the engineering industry. Experience in delivering in an education setting is desirable, as is holding a teaching qualification; however, this is not essential as training and the opportunity to achieve a teaching qualification whilst working for the College will be provided. Assessor and/or IQA qualifications would be advantageous.
