The role is full time beginning in January 2023. The contract extends at least until the end of the academic year but there is the potential for the role to become permanent for the right candidate, at the discretion of the school. The position is at a two-form entry primary school which has consistently been rated 'GOOD' by OFSTED. The school ethos is centred around the child and the importance of every individual within the school. Nurturing each student into independent and happy learners, who come to school in a friendly environment. Role: Strong knowledge of the curriculum in at Key Stage 2 Excellent classroom control and behavior management techniques Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the classroom, and throughout the school Ability to monitor, assess and report on the progress of your students Able to plan and deliver engaging and dynamic lessons Willingness to comply with the schools policies and implement them effectively Requirements: Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification Recent mainstream school-based experience teaching in a Primary School Have a high level of classroom and behaviour management Experience working with SEND is desirable Why Step Teachers?
