Lewis Davey are delighted to be recruiting for one of the leading Sustainability Consultancies in the UK.
You will be working within the already established team of strategy consultants with excellent communications to help lead and influence change to drive business's to play its part towards net zero.
Ideally you will have a strong background in Carbon Offsetting markets which will include development and implementation of the service offering.
Responsibilities:
• Service development and delivery
o Leading our Carbon Removals service offering, including the implementation and development of this area of the business
o Leading strategic projects with clients to build and implement ambitious removals strategies that enable clients to transition to net zero
o Scaling consultancy services through effective resourcing, developing processes and coaching the team
• Stakeholder management
o Develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships both with clients and in the wider offsetting / removals market
o Business development to expand our work with key clients and drive growth of the company
• Communication and people
o Ability to influence internal board-level stakeholders to drive decision-making to grow this area of the business effectively
o Empathy, intuition and influencing skills to draw out priorities, consolidate thinking and get buy-in to the proposed route forward o Excellent presentation skills and ability to lead workshops with business leaders
o Leading teams and supporting colleagues with personal development
What our client is looking for?
• 5 years+ relevant exposure in climate change and focused experience with carbon markets
• Technical experience of full offset project lifecycle, from project ideation/creation, partnerships/business development, through to reporting and verification
• Ability to advise on the implementation of insetting projects, including the costs and carbon capture involved
• demonstrable experience developing a new consultancy service offering within a business and leading on the implementation
