Pricing ActuarySpecialty (Re)insurer - City of London£80,000 - £110,000Arthur have partnered with a highly respected global specialty (re)insurer to introduce a Pricing Actuary to their pricing team. Our client is in a period of rapid growth, and they are looking for a knowledgeable actuary who will utilise their passion for coding to support and improve the pricing model.The desirable candidate will be a newly/post qualified actuary and have experience in general insurance, and proficient in a coding language e.g. Python. A candidate with Lloyd's and/or London Market specialty pricing or reinsurance experience would be desirable.Successful candidates will benefit from a fully immersive onboarding and induction process which has been created to offer you the best opportunity to succeed within the company. - Assist in the development and deployment of pricing models.
- Utilise your passion for coding to support the Model Development Team.
- Utilise knowledge of the market to successfully adapt pricing techniques.
- Ability to simply complex topics and communicate findings to colleagues and senior stakeholders.
- Implement and improve the pricing model.
- Newly/post qualified actuary with specialty pricing and/or reinsurance experience.
- A numerate degree achieving a 2:1 or higher.
- Passion for coding e.g. Python
