Graduate Teaching Assistant

One of the fantastic schools we work with in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire are looking to find three recent creative graduates to join their exceptional primary school as Teaching Assistants, for ASAP starts! If you're looking for something a bit more flexible they are also looking for bank staff as and when! 8.30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday Pay rate of £80 per day (minimum) Experience working with SEN is desirable but not essential You will have the opportunity to support students on a 1 and 1 basis inside and outside the classroom, ensuring they flourish and are not left behind. The school have worked with Creative Graduates for the last 3 years who have started as SEN Teaching Assistants and go on to further studies (Masters, Therapy etc) or Assistant Psychologist, Well-Being Practitioner roles. Any recent graduates will have the opportunity to work alongside truly world-class; Speech and Language Therapists, Educational Psychologists, CAMHS Link Workers, Mental Health Professionals, Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinator (SENCO) and Specialist on-site teachers, all of which have multiple years industry experience! The school caters for pupils who have severe learning difficulties (SLD) and profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) and Autism and is OFSTED rated 'Good' They have a new starter induction programme, excellent CPD, friendly and dedicated staff, staff socials, free on-site car park, and an ethos of focusing on positive learning behaviour and high expectations for all pupils and staff.
