Unix Programmer/support consultant

Whitebridge Group, the specialist Digital Transformation consultancy is looking an experienced Unix Programmer to join our client on a long-term engagement.

Candidate's required/essential experience

• Strong Unix experience (preferably not as an administrator)
• Good knowledge of Unix Shell Scripting (able to write, interpret existing scripts, and troubleshoot)
• Strong knowledge of basic Unix commands (file manipulation, transfer, SFTP)
• Knowledge of Oracle database applications useful but not essential
• Previous application support experience, Legacy Oracle ideal.

The successful applicant should be able to commit to starting ASAP. The role for the foreseeable future will be a remote role with occasional office visits. Direct applicants only please.
