Maintenance Technician

Required as soon as possible

Salary £24,880 to £28,030 per annum inclusive

You will be an experienced all rounder joining our Maintenance Team which is responsible for maintaining the fabric of the School buildings to the highest possible standard. A good working knowledge is required of carpentry, plumbing and/or electrical works as well as some knowledge of relevant Health & Safety regulations. You should be computer literate, able to work at heights and in confined spaces and capable of manual lifting and shifting. Possessing experience in one of the above trades or a similar position is an advantage.

A full driving licence is required. Experience of operating and maintaining swimming pools, working on MEWP, scaffold or mobile towers would be useful.

Hours of work 37.5 hours per week, 9.00am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday. Occasional weekend working may be required.

Salary is on the City of London Corporation Scale, Grade B, ranging from £24,880 to £26,710 pa inclusive of Outer London Allowance and contract hours, with the potential to increase to £28,030 subject to performance.
