Deputy Care Home Manager

£12.80 - £13.40 per hour, working 35 hours per week - to join our team in Burnham-on-Sea, Somerset.

At Ashcombe Court we support nine people with Mental Health needs or whom may have a dual diagnosis. We work with people with varied abilities to reach their full potential. We enable people to develop their skills, strengths and resilience. We help them to develop their own set of resources to self-manage and stay well. We provide people with the right support to assist them in developing coping techniques which can make a noticeable difference in their everyday lives. We understand that everyone is an individual and their needs may vary, but whatever the persons situation or however complex their needs are we will encourage, support and motivate them to achieve their optimum level of independence.

We understand the importance of providing person-centred support which enables independence and meets individual's specific needs. Through our outcomes focused approach, we support people to maintain choice and control of their own lives, our staff are our heroes and they need a leader!

We are looking for a Deputy Manger who has:

Broad experience of managing people, service and quality within a care setting
Must have NVQ / QCF in Health and Social Care Level 3 or above and be willing to work towards Level 4
A high level of personal integrity towards providing a high standard of service
Excellent time management and organisational skills and the ability to work on own initiative
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Good awareness of CQC legislation, updates, changes and best practice
A good understanding of commercial principles and practices
