Team Leader - Learning Disabilities
Hours per week: 37.5 (Full Time)
Hourly rate: up to £12.50
Contract: Permanent

Specialist residential and supported living services for adults with a learning disability, autism, mental health needs and acquired brain injury are provided throughout England and Wales by Accomplish.

We are currently recruiting for a fantastic and passionate Team Leader to join our supported living service.
The role involves:
Promoting and delivering a person-centred support culture across the service
Leading on the day-to-day delivery of the service
Provide effective supervision to a small team of Support workers
Create and manage an effective & fair rota to ensure all shifts are covered
Support service users with all aspects of daily living including personal care, medication daily living skills & accessing the community on a rota basis.
Ensuring all new starters are inducted effectively and supported through probation
Provide effective communication within the team with regular team & service user meetings
To liaise professionally with family members and other professionals.
To create, review and update service user care plans and risk assessments
Safeguarding service users' rights and dignity
Work closely with the service manager to enable effective communication with families, social workers and other key stakeholders.

Can demonstrate a practical understanding of delivering support with dignity, privacy and respect
Excellent written and Verbal communication skills
Excellent IT skills
Full manual driving licence & use of a car is desirable
