JOB ROLE: Senior Support Worker
LOCATION: Mond Court, Clydach (SA6)
SALARY: £10.00 - £10.50 per hour
SHIFT PATTERNS: 08:30-21:00PM, 12:00-23:00PM (Sleep till 07:00, work until 08:30) & 21:00-08:30AM
Candidates MUST be able to work 12-hour shifts.

About Mond Court:
At Mond Court Apartments we support six people with Mental Health needs, who may also have Learning Disabilities or a dual diagnosis. We support individuals who may also have challenging behaviours and/or drug and alcohol problems.
We are looking for someone outgoing, enthusiastic and confident to join our team. You'll be working in a challenging environment so must be able to follow instructions and make your own decisions when required to ensure the wellbeing of our clients.
Working as part of a team, you must be able to adapt, be a team player and flexible to the needs of the home. We are looking for a confident person who will be able to accompany and engage with our clients on various outdoor activities including Swimming, fishing, rock climbing and mountain walks.
As a Senior Support Worker, you will be involved in the day to day support and routine of the people within the service including
Managing a team of Support Workers
Providing high standards of care and support for service users, in line with care and support plans
Encourage good community relationships by promoting a variety of activities
Accurately report, record and maintain records as required and working to care plans
Liaise with health professionals and their families
Complete supervisions and audits
To ensure that all duties undertaken by reporting staff are performed to required standards, and that all such staff contribute in a positive manner to provide a happy, efficient and homely atmosphere within the Home.
