Job Description

Talent Acquisition Lead

Purpose of role:

  • To support the growth & scalability plans for the business
  • To find and attract great talent, at all levels, to the business
  • To drive a High Performance culture in our Talent Attraction processes. Keep extremely high standards and be the gatekeeper of these expectations for all applications coming into the business
  • Build a best-in-class employer brand, and drive this externally through Social Media channels to enhance our application numbers
  • To be the link between our internal processes & ambitions and the external candidate community
  • To support the Leadership team with onboarding & retention of our staff

Talent responsibilities:

  • Work with the Leadership Team to identify strategic hires in every part of the business, always with a forward thinking & proactive 6 month view
  • Directly source and qualify graduates/trainees by using job boards & targeting applications from Social Media platforms and other local means
  • Host Graduate recruitment campaigns, through developing relationships with Universities
  • Work with the Marketing Team to create a leading employer brand in the recruitment sector. This will include leading the creation of compelling content and campaigns that create a best-in-class employer brand
  • Work with the Leadership Team to map and research competitors and target key people within these businesses
  • Identify other industry sectors and companies where the business can source great talent
  • Act as the "face of the business" building our reputation in the market with leading recruitment consultants
  • To deeply qualify any candidates applying for roles in the business, and be able to filter out any candidates who do not reach our high expectations. Only allow quality & relevant further interviews with the Leadership Team to take place
  • Analyse the data from the PPI & Psychological Questionnaire, to identify opportunities & challenges from our applicants
  • Support and influence our onboarding programme for all new team members
  • Ensuring all new starters have a mentor/buddy and build a relationship with each new starter to support them within their first 3 months
  • Strategically building talent pools and pipelines for future hires identified by the Leadership team
  • Live and breath our Vision, Mission & Values & be able to communicate these externally to attract more people to our business
  • Understand our Reward & Remuneration packages so you are able to eloquently communicate these to applicants

Knowledge required:

  • A clear expert in recruitment, and ability to qualify & control candidates through the recruitment process
  • Knowledge of our business currently, and where it is going, in order to communicate and sell this externally
  • Experience in analysing and interpreting data trends, to build a candidate profile and judge suitability
  • International hiring understanding, as we seek to grow our business outside of the UK
