Cleanroom Process Technician

Location: Cambridge (CB2) Duration: 2 Year Fixed Term Contract Hours: 8am until 4pm (Monday to Friday) Salary: £27,900 to £32,000 Job Reference: 34397 Polytec are looking for a Cleanroom Process Technician for our Cambridge based client. Responsibilities: Close control over the handling and use of processing equipment Assist with all higher risk activities, such as modifications to the gas handling system and resupply (particularly important when the hazard presented is acute) Assist with building operations, including close monitoring of temperature, water supply, solar energy generation and AV facilities Storing and cataloguing of equipment (PCs, Laptops, desks and chairs) Process graphene and related materials using various clean room-based equipment Update web pages with available facilities, including brief descriptions and pictures Maintain and update database of all purchases to ensure easy accounting and traceability Requirements: At least HNC / Degree level qualification or gained experience and specialist knowledge Experience in handling chemicals, and clean room processing equipment Excellent communication skills Experience in providing training to groups on a one to one basis Ability to work to instructions and take ownership of a job Good problem solving capabilities A keen interest in Engineering Manual dexterity and eye to hand co-ordination is essential Experience in solution processing and printing Please contact us as soon as possible for more details or apply below!
