Fuel Tanker Driver

Our customer who is the leading supplier in transporting fuel, is looking for a Class 2 Fuel Tanker Driver to join their team on a temporary basis in Southampton. The clients have advised us that they will consider offering a permanent role to the right candidate.

Key responsibilities/ Job information:

• Monday to Friday
• Start times between 6:00am and 8:00am
• 9-11 hour working days
• Delivering around the South Coast area
• Fuel deliveries to petrol stations
• Delivering oil to residential areas
• Ensure deliveries are made to the customer with a high level of customer service as standard.
• Work in a safe, compliant, and professional manner in line with the client's operational planning.

What we would like from you:

• Hold Cat C driving licence.
• Valid a CPC and Digi card.
• Current ADR certificate/card
• Own transport to commute to and from work
• Understand an adhere to drivers' hours legislation and tachographs.
• Please be aware that some manual handling will be required for this role.
• High level of safety awareness
• Ensure highest level of customer service
