Their consultancy has multiple offices in Scotland that oversee an exciting Variety of projects across a wide range of sectors. They pride themselves on their levels and years of expertise and knowledge to always be able to provide innovative and professional service and now have an outstanding opportunity for an intermediate mechanical engineer to join their dedicated and experienced team.
The chosen candidate will join a group of design engineers in our client's office in Dunfermline and will be in charge of designing various mechanical services with little oversight for a variety of projects in a variety of industries, including residential, commercial, retail, off-shore, etc.
The successful engineer should be confident in their ability and have the drive to always work up to their highest standards. You will be technically able with regards to Mechanical system designs within a variety of building types. You will have strong communication skills to ensure the project's completion from start to finish-competent working knowledge of industry-specific software.
Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:
- A BSc/Beng in Mechanical or building services degree
- A minimum of 3 years of experience within the building services industry.
- Confident use of Revit, MEPWorx, Autocad, SAP2005, and SBEM is essential.
- Capable of the technical design of Mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of RIBA Plan of Work
