You'll work autonomously as well as collaborating with the wider analytics team to drive portfolio health across all brands.

The Role

In this high-profile role, you will lead strategy development and optimisation across various, existing, customer commercial strategies from a Credit Risk perspective, using SQL and Python to drive these insights from commercial & risk analytics, effective performance monitoring, and financial planning through to data targeting and implementation. You will:

• Formulate and drive strategy that represents commercial programmes impacting the portfolio growth and yield, partnering with other strategy functions to deliver positive customer and commercial outcomes using SQL and Python (or SAS)
• Identify pockets and segments of untapped value, acting on these as well as understanding emerging risks and consumer identity trends and mitigating these
• Work with finance and treasury teams on monitoring, forecasting cycles, financial planning, and analysis, securitisation, and investor queries. Support through the use of SQL and Python, driving business change

Key Skills & Requirements

• Excellent commercial experience with SQL and Python/SAS

• Strong & proven quantitative analytical skills within analytics functions of Financial Services (Commercial/Credit Risk/Marketing departments)
• Ability to present findings & analysis in a structured and well-thought-through way, particularly when addressing a non-expert audience
