Role Overview - Overseas Travel Required

Fintelligent are currently partnered with a leading retailer with revenue in excess of £100m. Our client is seeking a step up Finance Director to support a vital area of the business including professionalising finance, M&A and partnering with operations. You will be supporting the newly appointed CFO whilst providing leadership to a junior finance function.

Main Duties

• Overseeing and acting as 'number 1' within an underperforming arm of the business
• Managing and developing a team of 3 qualified and 4 none qualified accountants
• Developing the monthly reporting suite, providing transparency on company performance
• Building a strong relationship with the PE investors and other stakeholders
• Supporting EBITDA growth via partnering with none finance
• Providing strategic leadership and transparency on performance
• Identifying business growth opportunities

Person Specification

• Fully qualified accountant, ideally top 4 trained
• Strong management skills
• Comfortable in a fast paced and energetic environment
• Experience of operating in a PE backed business is highly desirable though not essential
• Strong commercial awareness
