£33,600 + vehicle + Training

Alecto Recruitment is looking to hear from experienced Generator/ Marine Diesel Engineers or similar in the Durham area who would like to work in a regional capacity with some travel around the UK, serving the landfill gas industry.

• Further training provided for OEM and Control Systems.
• Role Profile
• 18th edition/ Gas safe training

Operation and Maintenance of Equipment such as Generating Sets and Processing Plants.

• Day to Day operations of assigned sites.
• Dealing with plant equipment and generators.
• Keeping up to date with technical and regulatory requirements.
• Provide Emergency call out cover.
• UK wide travel, when necessary.

Engineer Profile

• We require experience within an O&M Engineering Environment within Heavy Industrial Engineering.
• Ideally you will have experience or formal qualifications within an Engineering field.
• Ideally based in the Durham Area and willing to travel.
• Must be able to work alone.
• Extensive knowledge and experience of Electrical, Heat and Mechanical maintenance.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
