Test Engineer

Reporting to: CTO

Location: Sheffield - Hybrid

My client is a highly innovative and disruptive new entrant in the cybersecurity and networking market, developing advanced hardware-enforced products and solutions, utilising Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) technology, that delivers ultra-high-speed, low latency, and high-grade cryptography solutions. Description

We have an opportunity for a Test Engineer seeking an entry-level role/early career role. The successful candidate will work in a small technically diverse team to bring unique and disruptive products to market. My clients DNA and culture values aptitude and attitude, consequently this is a perfect opportunity to come to make a difference.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Producing test documentation, to support manual and automated testing, allied to managing bug life cycles
• Operate test equipment including sampling scopes
• Script-coding for test automation
• Provide regularly scheduled reports to line management

Essential Skills and Experience Required

• End to End testing withing CI/CD (Python/Yaml/Docker)
• GitLab
• Network setup and configuration

Desirable

• High-speed Network Simulation
