CNC Shift Team Leader

Are you an experienced CNC Machinist with a desire to move into management?

Duties include:

• Driving lean practices and continuous improvement projects
• Communicating team objects and setting daily goals in line with the company's KPIs
• Responsible for the day to day running of the shift and ensuring all team members adhere to company policies and procedures
• Coaching team members to improve performance levels and improve skillsets
• Coordinating the teams to optimise production output
• Ensuring all items processed are correct and to the required standards following all quality control checks
• Working closely with the Production Manager to supply reports and updates on production
• Maintaining the workflow through by monitoring processes and facilitating corrections within the team
• Observing and monitoring fault finding processes to ensure the correct methods are being used
• Ensuring the production area is kept in a clean and operative state
• Recording all production data and updating computer systems when required
• Providing cover for other Team Leaders during holiday periods and prolonged sickness
• Responsible for the security of the building at the end of the shift

Qualifications & Requirements - CNC Team Leader

• Experience working within a production/manufacturing environment
• Team Leader experience - ideally within a production/manufacturing environment however other environments may be considered
• Computer literate
• Strong communication skills

• Hours of work are on a weekly rotation - Mon-Fri, 6am-2pm & Mon-Fri, 2pm-10pm
