Mechanical Assembler

We are currently looking for General Operatives to join one of our clients on a long term basis. The company is a world leader in the manufacture, modification and servicing of specialist products for the rail industry. Based in their purpose-built premises in Wiltshire the role will involve working on the strip and repair of air conditioning units and braking systems for trains. The main duties will include the following: - Assisting in the removal of components Stripping equipment down to their component parts Cleaning and de-greasing parts Assisting in the re-build of equipment The successful candidates will be used to working with basic hand tools and ideally have some basic mechanical or electrical experience, although a qualification in either of these is not essential as full training in the role will be given Previous experience of working with air conditioning/refrigeration systems or braking systems would be useful but again is not essential This is an ongoing role for the right candidates This is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly expanding company and for someone to make their own mark on the role.
