What you'll do

Be part of a team delivering exciting new products and services across the UK and Europe, responsible for:

  • Provide central leadership for deployment in all Sky territories
  • Collaborate across disciplines to ensure a consolidated view on release activity
  • Define how to score risk within releases & use that score to plan predictable releases
  • Supervise progress through JIRA (and other tools) highlighting anything that may affect the release plan
  • Ensure suitable dashboards are built and maintained to show release readiness at any point
  • Work with delivery teams to align scope & delivery options between all platforms
  • Identify & help drive improvements that stream-line the overall release process
  • Record all decision and action points relating to software roll-out
  • Ensure all crucial and pre-agreed gating checks have been performed as part of sign-off
  • Work with other teams to monitor and lead phased roll-out of releases
  • Building collaborative relationships across the team, with finance, and with collaborators in Sky and Comcast
What you'll bring
  • Diplomacy and the ability to make things happen in an environment of ambiguity, complexity and multiple stakeholders, being able to influence others without direct authority.
  • Importantly, attention to detail and a delivery- oriented mind-set, with a track record of a project co-ordination type activity.
  • Fantastic communication and listening skills, able to translate messages and simplify and summarise problems in a straightforward and succinct manner.
  • A flexible approach and be able to adapt your style and methods to get the best results in a complicated and fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to prioritise, and re-visit priorities in order to ensure adherence to deadlines and project milestones.
  • Skills to be open and transparent in everything that you do.
  • Experience in quickly grasping ideas in both familiar and unfamiliar domains

This role is a phenomenal opportunity to build and play a crucial role in getting our software into the hands of our customers as part of Sky's Product Delivery Team. We're responsible for delivering a portfolio of exciting new products and services across the UK and Europe, and this role is an instrumental part of the delivery team, focused on how we manage and deploy software releases

Your office space Osterley

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There are also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
