The client is an industry heavyweight with a reputation for client centric claims management, technical innovation and leadership and due to continuing growth, are looking to add a Structural Engineer to their ranks to cover the UK. The role will require travel, yet a large part of the role will be completed virtuallyJob Scope:The role will be home based, although planned office attendance and UK travel will be required.Carry out initial visits and assess damage to a high professional standard.Engage with local adjusters and building surveyorsKnowledgeExtensive knowledge of structural elements, design, design calculations, building construction and contract administration.Understand the principals of continuous improvement and innovationAwareness of Building Regulations compliance and requirements in relation to repair and refurbishment.Awareness of Construction Design and Management Regulations 2015, specifically in relation to structural and scheme designThis is an exciting opportunity for which we expect a significant number of applications.
