Within the Commercial Finance team, everything depends on the overall trading environment and our competitors. It's fast-paced and you never know what will happen next. We're now recruiting for a Finance Business Partner to join our team reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner.
The aim of this role is to provide financial and analytical support to our stakeholders, providing reports & insight and leading budgeting and forecasting cycles. You will also manage your business unit's P&L, including month end reconciliations and journal postings.
Accountabilities
Weekly Reporting & Analysis of Sales and Margin
Monthly Reporting including of Incomes & Costs
Month End Processes including reconciliations, posting journals and variance analysis
Leading the production of Budgets and Forecasts, alongside the Senior FBP
Provide analysis, insight & informative reporting to support & influence business decisions
Other tasks appropriate to role to support the team
One direct report
A successful candidate will have:
Relevant finance qualification (CIMA, ACCA, etc)
Commercially minded - quick to understand the business and identify risks & opportunities
Pro-active problem-solving skills
Attention to detail
Thrive in a fast-paced environment, able to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines
Advanced Excel Skills
Line management experience (desirable)
