We are seeking an experienced Director of Fundraising and Communications to develop and implement fundraising and communications strategies with networks in the Church of England . Your primary obligations will be overseeing the fundraising and communications staff and developing strategies that will help us secure financial support. You will also communicate with our partners and supporters to maintain relationships and establish new connections with individuals who are willing to donate funds.
Additional responsibilities include coordinating the key fundraising and communications projects, evaluating fundraising plans regularly, and identifying new community fundraising opportunities. If you have at least 5 years of experience in the fundraising and communications fields and a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or another relevant field, you could be the ideal candidate for this position.

Find prospective community fundraising opportunities and activities
Coordinate work and projects among our fundraising and marketing staff
Requirements
You will be a highly skilled professional with a background in communications or fundraising, a strong strategic approach and a good grasp of current trends and developments, including within digital marketing and PR. You will relish the opportunity to help transform us by raising its profile, especially within the Anglican churches of Britain and Ireland. This will involve transforming its communications, supporting its fundraising and engaging effectively with new audiences. You will also work creatively with more established channels including the traditional structures of the church (General Synod, dioceses, deaneries, parishes), with sector ministry (universities, colleges, schools etc), with Church networks and groups, festivals and events and through digital engagement. You will have experience of leading teams to successful outcomes, enjoy the responsibility and collegiality of senior leadership, take a collaborative approach but also be a confident decision-maker.
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a relevant field
5+ years of experience as a Director of Fundraising and Communications (or a similar role)
Thorough understanding of strategic communications and marketing strategies
Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, interpersonal, and leadership skills
