Job Description
Our client is a global provider of scientific solutions, helping laboratories around the world enable advancements in many areas such as pharmaceutical, food, environmental and healthcare. They are currently looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Field Service Engineer to join their team covering sites in Yorkshire.
Working mostly around Yorkshire, you will travel to customer sites to carry out repairs, maintenance and installation of chromatography instruments from a range of manufacturers. Working closely with clients on-site you will provide training on the instruments and ensure documentation is correct and up to date.
The ideal candidate will have/be:
- A HNC or equivalent in Electronic Engineering and/or a BSc in a scientific field
- A full drivers licence
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar field service environment.
- Experience with chromatography instrumentation i.e., HPLC, LC-MS, GC-MS systems
- Comfortable with extensive travel
