About the department Latham's Business Development Department executes a shared vision to protect and grow market share, enhance client service, increase client loyalty, and drive cross-selling efforts across the firm's global platform. About the team The Client Engagement team work closely with partners to develop and implement strategies that deepen and grow the firm's client relationships. Engaging directly with clients, the team gathers a range of data and insight to further inform and evolve the firm's approach to engaging our clients. The intelligence gathered by the team is shared with the firm's global leadership to inform the go-to-market strategy. About the role As a Client Development Advisor, you will be responsible for coordinating the account management and sales efforts within several of the firm's key Private Equity and Private Capital accounts and targets. They will navigate the client and partner relationships, identify new opportunities to grow revenue and ensure the client team is coordinated in all their efforts. Other key responsibilities include: Working directly with clients of the firm and with partners, supporting BD colleagues to implement real change. Coordinating account management and sales growth for 8-10 key accounts in the Private Equity/Private Capital space Collaborating with each of the client Partner Coordinators to identify opportunities to grow the account and coordinate efforts to deliver on these plans with the Relationship Partners and other lawyers on the accounts Maintaining and growing revenue within the key accounts Developing and executing a business development plan for each client About you We'd love to hear from you if you have: Experience managing multiple large accounts, growing revenue, and building relationships within those A track record of growing revenue, managing accounts in a complex selling environment, navigating stakeholders in service of partners Experience in launching/building a program and gaining executive buy-in Successful candidates will not only be provided with an outstanding job opportunity and welcoming environment, but will also be provided with a generous total compensation package with bonuses awarded in recognition of both individual and firm performance.
