SARs Processing Officer Midlands 3 months All Remote Working Full Time Up to £15 per hour Umbrella
Venn Group s specialist legal team are currently working with a reputable Local Authority in the West Midlands region, who are recruiting for an organised individual to join the team as a Locum SARs Processing Officer. This is a great first role for getting into the Legal profession if you are currently doing the LPC part time or have just graduated.
This is an assignment offered on an all remote basis for an initial duration of 3 months however further extension is expected. The ideal candidate for this role will be able to commit to full time working hours. This role is promoted on an hourly rate up to £15 Umbrella, dependent upon relevant experience of the individual candidate.
This opportunity is ideal for those who possess strong administrative skills and an excellent fit for those with existing experience working for a Local Authority handling SARs however candidates not possessing this experience will be considered.
Duties may include:
- Processing SAR requests on behalf of the Council
- Liaising with the relevant business area to obtain all information required for the requests
- Maintaining central logs relating to requests for personal data, data breaches, Data Protection Act 2018 and Data Protection Impact Assessments
- Answering any queries they may have as to the location, content and importance of all the documents
- Undertaking several fact-finding, fact checking and legal research exercises
