Business Consultant - Oracle Banking Applications / FLEXCUBE

Business Consultant - FLEXCUBE / Oracle Finance - Permanent or outside IR35 contract

Central London - 2-3 days a week on site

We're working with a prestigious consultancy company who are looking to recruit 2-3 Business Consultants ideally with FLEXCUBE implementation experience. This is to work ideally on a permanent but if not contract basis.

You'll be part of a team of subject matter experts on Flexcube banking solution delivery where you'll lead and manage the business requirements and products definitions from the functional owners.

We're looking for someone who will be able to manage the implementation from requirement gathering, design, product definition, configuration and testing support.

You'll have the ability to understand the client's requirement clearly and articulate it into Functional Specification Documents.

You'll have full software lifecycle development experience, preferably in agile methodology along with a good understanding of integration touch points and various integration patterns.

As a Business Consultant you'll identify the gaps from the Business Requirement Document and provide solutions for the gaps and prepare Functional Specification Documentation.

You'll own the Functional specification and provide walk-throughs to the technical or development team.

You'll assist the testing team in creating test cases for the requirement and ensure that the solution provided is the best among alternatives.

Other responsibilities include providing status reports to Project Managers for dashboard preparation at regular intervals as required by the project and identify the challenges in the middle of development and suggest changes to the client and get their concurrence.

Must have 7 + years of experience on Oracle FLEXCUBE Core Banking Product or Finance Banking applications - or alternatively strong Oracle Finance or other ERP Finance Modules.

Strong experience in CORE General Ledger and Accounting modules.

Good understanding of UK Financial Reporting and Regulatory Requirements for large Global Banks

Triaging, analyzing and working with client teams on FLEXCUBE requirements

Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), along with excellent interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of Oracle ERP/EPM modules such AFCS, AHCS, GL, FCCS will be plus
