Join us as a Fleet Transition Director
- We're looking for someone to secure new opportunities to support our customers' business vehicle needs and their transition to lower carbon vehicle solutions
- You'll be managing clients effectively while maintaining a visible presence in other parts of the business and the external market
- With your commitment to succeed, we'll help you to achieve relevant qualifications to allow you to excel in your role
- We're looking for 3 candidates to take on these roles, covering either North England, London and the South East, or South West and South Wales
What you'll do
Working at Lombard, you'll build and maintain good relationships with a wide portfolio of customers. Specialising in asset finance and vehicle contract hire, we'll look to you to drive sales activity and deliver a proactive and exceptional customer service, providing products and services which meet their needs.
Additionally, you'll develop and maintain working relationships with key business and functional partners to ensure a cooperative approach to relationship management and lead generation.
You'll also be:
- Contributing to the design and delivery of a strategy to identify sources of new business across the bank to grow existing relationships within the vehicle market
- Helping to create a long-term impact that supports our Climate & Growth strategy
- Identifying and meeting customer needs in their transition to low carbon vehicle solutions
- Taking ownership for and regularly contributing to the delivery of business goals
- Working together to build trust and long-term sustainable value for customers and colleagues
The skills you'll need
In this role, you'll need to have some specific knowledge and experience of asset finance and experience with contract hire would be desirable.
We'll also be looking for you to have experience of new business origination, building good relationships with customers and a good understanding of SME and Corporate businesses, along with a proactive approach and commercial awareness.
We'd also like you to have:
- Sound knowledge and experience in financial analysis and credit stewardship and a detailed understanding of the banking sector
- Great interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with senior colleagues
- An Agile mindset and a desire to develop our capability and be a part of a key strategic initiative to support customer transition to low carbon vehicles
- The ability to build trust with customers and contribute to a collaborative and enthusiastic working environment within our team
