Engineer/Scientist

Location: Cambridge (CB4) Duration: Permanent Hours: 9am until 5:30pm (Monday to Friday) Salary: £35,000 to £50,000 Job Reference: 34375 Polytec are looking for a new member for a manufacturing team based in Cambridge. You may be a Process Enigneer, Chemical Engineer or a Materials Scientist. This is a hands-on role with the majority of your time spent in the lab / workshop planning and conducting trials. You will be a key team member scaling up technology and processes. Responsibilities: Development of high-volume powder processing techniques Particle design High temperature engineering Material handling Requirements: Experience in powder processing development (ideally) Experience in manufacturing/process engineering Physical science degree or equivalent knowledge / experience Knowledge of Battery / Oven technology Awareness of health, safety and environment (HSandE) Knowledge in Quality Systems Lean Six Sigma Please contact us as soon as possible for more details or apply below!
