• Provide support for Live business applications, ensuring that they are always available to support business users and external customers.
• You will contribute to the design and the implementation of a platform of internal tools supporting a variety of stakeholders within Sky, to improve reliability and performance of Sky's flagship media products
• Write clean, concise, readable code that follows common design patterns and best engineering practices
• Prioritise and investigate issues before determining appropriate actions to take.
• Facilitate recovery, following resolution of incidents

• Proven track record in software development
• Significant Experience in delivery of Java based projects
• Experience with automated build and test systems for CI/CD (using Jenkins or similar) and Test Driven Development.
• A proactive, positive attitude to deliver beyond stakeholders' expectations
• Experience of building reusable codes and libraries
• Self-motivated, productive, and works well even with/without formal structure
