Motorhome Sales Agent Bathgate Full Time 5 days per week / 2 days off per week OTE £36,000 (uncapped)

Dynamic luxury motorhome rental and sales company based in Central Scotland seeks experienced sales person. Our motorhome sales arm is growing and we are looking for a motivated sales person to assist with further growing this side of the business. You will be a people person, friendly, trust worthy and passionate about vehicle sales.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Selling ex-rental stock, brand new stock, and sourcing/buying/selling second hand stock
  • Advertising of stock and working with our website provider, Auto trader and other platforms to promote the vehicles accurately, including taking of pictures and vehicle presentation
  • Plan promotions and campaigns to boost sales
  • Respond and follow up all customer visits/enquiries in a timely manner via phone/email, keeping an accurate record of all leads in the sales pipeline using our databases
  • Upselling addons such as finance, insurance, awnings, bike racks, trackers, and other accessories
  • Be familiar and aware of FCA requirements/guidelines
  • Keep accurate records of all sales documentation and promptly inform DVLA of all sales/transfer of ownership
  • Ensure vehicles moving from the sales fleet to sales stock are removed from hire insurance and placed on SORN
  • Be responsible for sales signage and advertising at the site to promote foot fall and vehicle sales
  • Attending motorhome shows around the country including the Glasgow SECC motorhome show and Birmingham NEC motorhome show
  • Working with the depot manager to build and strengthen relationships with motorhome and campervan manufacturers
  • Handing over of sold vehicles to customers and vehicle explanations/acquaints. Testing and checking of vehicle operations and cleanliness prior to handovers
  • Delivering and collecting of sales vehicles around the country as needed
  • You will report into the depot manager and ensure to meet sales targets
  • You will be a team player and will be joining a small tight knit and friendly team with whom you will work closely and provide support and assistance to ensure the smooth running of the business as a whole
  • Respond to enquiries regarding vehicles for sale, providing detailed verbal and written information to prospective buyers
  • Must be able to work weekends

Experience:

  • At least 2-3 years experience and proven track record in selling of vehicles, preferably motorhomes/campervans
  • Be experienced and responsible for advertising of stock, through online media platforms
  • Excellent administration and IT skills
  • Conducting of background checks such as HPI vehicle history checks
  • Selling finance and dealing with finance companies
  • Proven track record in selling of vehicles
  • Proven ability to negotiate and close deals
  • Experience with underwriting part exchange vehicles

Requirements:

  • Full and valid UK driving license
  • Superb attention to detail
  • Confident, smart, and presentable
  • Respectful, friendly and have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and on own initiative
  • Highly motivated to achieve sales and meet sales targets
  • Enthusiastic team player with high attention to detail
  • Good eye for figures
  • Previous experience selling motorhomes and campervans preferred
  • Build rapport with potential customers and gather accurate information to progress sales leads
