Job Description
Our client, a leading South West organisation, is looking for an experienced & motivated Finance Manager to supervise and develop the accounting team responsible for providing accounting services to a specialist operational area.
It is critical that the team produce effective and accurate accounting information, and offer practical support to non-finance colleagues, whilst balancing cash collection requirements.
This is an excellent opportunity if you enjoy technical accounting work and are seeking to lead a small team.
Day to day responsibilities include:
- Supervision and development of the finance team, including annual performance reviews.
- Suggesting and implementing efficiency improvements, when dealing with high volumes of data.
- Problem solving and supporting the remedy of complex reconciliation.
- Supporting non finance colleagues.
You will need to be a skilled Finance Manager, an excellent relationship builder, with a recognised accounting qualification and post qualification management experience.
Superb communication and the ability to work effectively to deadlines are essential.
