Commercial Gas Engineer leading to a managerial role

M25 & Home Counties

Package to be negotiated with the salary in the region of £40-45k but will depend on experience and location

This company have been established for 5 years after deciding to set up their own company as they were both in managerial roles and unhappy at the previous companies. After a great first 2 years, COVID hit and they work with a lot of restaurants and hotels so this lead to it being a difficult time for them. They survived and continued to stay in touch with their clients throughout which has allowed them to gain further contracts with Schools, Hospitals and universities as well as high end London properties. They are back to a better position than before COVID and are getting to a point where they would need to turn jobs away so now is the time for growth.

The Role:

• The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial and domestic gas.
• Must be based in the South, preferably in the M25 or close by and willing to travel
• You will be expected to work on your own or occasionally in a team.
• You will carry out pre planned maintenance work. They don't offer a call out rota but may get occasional calls
• If you show willingness to grow with them you will reap the benefits as you would progression within the company to a managerial role from an engineer

Experience and Skills required:

• Experience working on commercial and domestic boilers including up to 3 megawatts
• Can work on your own initiative
• Hold valid gas qualifications
• Full UK driving licence

In return:

As they are currently working flat out themselves to ensure all contracts are kept on to of they are looking for a first in the door engineer who will essentially assist them in running the business. They are looking for an engineer to take a permanent role on with the view to becoming a lead engineer/service manager in the near future.

They are willing to offer a competitive salary and package depending on the candidate's location and experience and would be willing to take on apprentices at a later date including friends/family to help their growth.
