Job Description

Asbestos Surveyor Analyst

Location: Northern Home Counties (Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Middlesex)

Rate: £23 - £27 p/h

IR35 Determination: Outside Scope

Are you a freelance asbestos analyst / surveyor who is looking for a long term 12 month contract on 100% commercial and infrastructure projects then this could be just the thing for you.

The Role

A new position has opened for an Asbestos Consultant in the Northern Home Counties area to join a specialised multidisciplinary consultancy. The role will see you working on predominantly rail structures and associated infrastructure, Commercial buildings such as Town Halls, Offices and warehouses.

My client predicts that this will be a 50 / 50 split between surveying and analytical work, and will present the successful candidate with a good variety of site work for the entire duration of the contract.

Key duties include:

  • Asbestos surveys
  • Bulk sampling and assessment
  • Statutory re-inspection
  • Airborne fibre monitoring, fibre counting and full clearance works
  • High level consultancy, client advice on managing asbestos in estates and properties

The Client

This multidisciplinary consultancy has over 15 years of experience and due to a strong pipeline of work has confidently stated that although this is an initial 1 year contract, they could see the successful candidate getting offered longer term work.

As a result we are looking for motivated and career focused individuals with following skill set:

  • P402, P403 and P404 certificates or S301 with the CCP in Asbestos
  • Minimum of 2 year post qualification experience
  • Experience working in the rail sector would be a distinct advantage but is not essential.
  • PTS certificate would be beneficial.
