Project Manager

A design and build contractor is currently looking to strength their delivery team with a Project Manager to join them on a permanent staff basis. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to look within a successful and growing company who are currently very busy on the Thames Water framework. What are the responsibilities? Leading a design and build project team in the design, procurement construction and commissioning on various water treatment projects Ensuring that all projects are completed within the deadline and to the most efficient manner Making sure projects are done within the tender estimate without risk to health and safety. Ensuring all the detailed construction plans are prepared and in place with a project timeline. Making sure all commercial aspects of the project are managed and ensuring you give accurate forecasts and estimates. Organising and motivating a project team of Project Engineers Managing budgets as well as allocating project resources Reporting directly to the Operations Manager Who we re looking for Minimum: - HNC Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with appropriate experience Previous water/waste water treatment industry experience is highly desirable but my client is also considering candidates from other process related industries Relevant CSCS card Strong previous experience within a Project Manager position Only those with proof of right to work in the UK should apply for this vacancy
