Civil Litigation Fee Earner

Our client is a local high street law firm, established for almost 100 years, and with an excellent reputation in the Middlesbrough and wider areas.They now have an opportunity for a Civil Litigation Fee Earner with at least 2 years PQE (either Solicitor or CILEX Legal Executives) to join their Litigation team in Middlesbrough.The successful Civil Litigation Fee Earner will include working closely with a Litigation Partner, and they will have sole conduct of your caseload, advising and acting on matters across the spectrum of civil litigation. This is a stimulating caseload of litigation matters, and will involve debt, insolvency, contested wills and probate, company and partnership disputes, property disputes, consumer law and landlord and tenant litigation. Secretarial support, ongoing training and progression will be provided.Any candidate will require a good knowledge and understanding of both Pre-Action Protocols and Civil Procedure Rules and will need to demonstrate an excellent record of academic and commercial achievement.The role will be to assist both external clients and enquiries and referrals from multiple internal departments and senior fee earners. You will have to be able to balance and prioritise your workload. You will need to be a good communicator that enjoys working in a team.The salary will be competitive with a bonus package based on performance.
