Sneakers Authentication Manager
eBay is hiring a Sneaker Authentication Manager for our team based in the London area. In this role, you will be responsible for keeping up to date with the Footwear industry trends, footwear releases, and collaborations with all retailers, from sneakers to high fashion. You supervise the authentication team, ensure the day-to-day management and optimisation of the authentication team.
Ensuring that each buyer receives the best experience possible. The right candidates will have experience from managing teams, detecting counterfeits and know the indicators to confirm an item's authenticity.

Sneakers Authentication Manager
eBay is hiring a Sneaker Authentication Manager for our team based in the London area. Responsibilities:
- Management of a team of Specialists
- Day-to-day management
- Optimisation of process flows
- Evaluate preloved and new products from major footwear brands to ensure their authenticity
- Report counterfeit items with succinct and specific findings
- Stay well-versed on current brand trends & developments
- Be comfortable in a fast-paced facility environment
- Achieve quality metrics and productivity goals daily
- Proactively communicate with managers about daily activities and obstacles
- Willingness to work in a warehouse environment
- People Leadership/Management Experience of Specialist teams (5 people or more)
- Experience in a related field required
- You are a fashion expert and have a strong sense of the category, passion for Sneakers
- Analytical and problem-solving skills ability to research and address concerns
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Flexibility to evolving work-flows and responsibilities
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work autonomously
- Capacity to work on your feet for several hours & lift 50 pounds as needed.
- Knowledge of standard operating systems, word processing, spreadsheets, Slack, etc.
