The Role
Here at Wood Street Veterinary Group, we are looking for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our team. Duties will include consulting and operating but this will differ throughout the working week to allow for variety.
The rota will involve working 42.5 hours per week over 4 days:

The shifts range anywhere between 8:30am-7:30pm.
1in6 Saturday mornings
1in6 full weekends (8am-6pm) - This is likely to be less frequent.
One week of nights every 8-10 weeks
Branch work will also be required.
The salary is up to £65,000 depending on experience.
About Us
Wood Street is based in a busy location in the heart of Barnet with shops and tube lines going into London. We have another branch where you may be required to work when needed. We are a busy 24-hour hospital with a varied caseload. We have fantastic facilities including x-rays, dental x-rays, laparoscopic equipment, hydrotherapy, a full range of endoscopes, and ultrasonography.
We currently have a team of 15 Veterinary Surgeons, 17 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 7 Veterinary Care Assitant's, a Reception Team, and a Practice Manager. Our Vets hold certificates in cardiology, Surgery, and Small Animal Internal Medicine. Our nurses also have certificates in Anaesthesia, ECC, and Exotics.
Applicant Requirements
We are looking for a qualified Veterinary Surgeon who has experience being in sole charge with a Nurse or Veterinary Care Assistant. The candidate must also be experienced working in a hospital environment.
