By setting up RWE's Central Procurement function and establishing a close collaboration with Procurement Departments and Business Divisions across the RWE Group we are looking for an experienced and engaged person as Team Lead (d/f/m) of Processes & Systems within the Department "Procurement Strategy & Processes" starting short-term.
Your tasks
The team Processes & Systems is responsible for the maintenance and further development of the procurement-specific processes and systems used by Procurement departments and business units of RWE across all regions.
In detail the team is focused on:
- Monitoring and identifying of relevant developments and changes inside and outside RWE affecting Procurement's processes and systems to keep the landscape state of the art
- Initiating and leading Group-wide projects to drive the automation and digitalisation of the
E-2-E Procurement process across all Procurement organisations and Operating Companies - Establishing a close collaboration with the Leadership Community of Procurement within RWE
- Developing and introducing procurement-specific ways of working and procedure to reach Procurement Excellence by higher efficiency and effectiveness of Procurement teams
- Supporting the operating Procurement teams in the use of processes and systems by providing manuals, trainings and direct advice in day-to-day operations
- Being the single point of contact for the (Central) IT departments focused on the use and further development of procurement-specific systems, especially SAP
- Set and manage appropriate KPIs on internal processes and external deliveries to create transparency regarding the
- Performance of Procurement and external suppliers
Your Profile
- University degree in economics, engineering, or natural sciences or alternative path of education
- Several years of working experience in Procurement or similar functions on an international level including proven leadership-, management- and project management skills
- Strong strategic and commercial awareness combined with both analytical skills and the ability to support Procurement organisations in the day-to-day work and in projects
- Advanced communication skills plus distinct intercultural competence
- Willing to travel internationally
- Excellent command of written and spoken German and English
