Project Engineer Oil & Gas

We are looking for a Project Engineer - Oil & Gas to join our team in Liverpool, Northwest.

Inspired by a dream to create a self-delivered 'one-stop-shop' for engineering services to the manufacturing sector, Alan Lusty founded what is now known as adi Group in 1990.

Project Engineer Duties:

• Provide technical support in the design, specification, and delivery of engineering solutions across multi-operational functions
• Organisation of the duties, tasks & workload of engineers assisting on larger contracts.
• Subcontract specialist engineering activities to outsourced companies as required.
• Provide project hour estimating, planning and forecasting for all engineering functions.
• Build & develop strong client relationships.
• Ensures the execution of the contracts with proper risk management control.
• Produce accurate and detailed surveys, project costs and quotations.
• Generate electrical designs & layouts.
• Produce detailed works schedules.
• Manage & deliver resources and projects plans.
• Lead bid proposals & contract negotiations.
• Plan and manage resource, negotiate and maintain relations with vendors and subcontractors.
• Prepare reports and study existing technical information clearly and precisely to attain client requirements.
• Work closely with other adi businesses
• Provide coaching and mentoring of more junior engineers within the department

Project Engineer Requirements:

• Flexible and prepared to travel nationally
• Have proven relationship building skills
• Have the ability to manage multiple parallel projects
• Have strong people management skills

Experience and Knowledge:

• Have project management skills.
• Experience of electrical installations and testing within a process plant & commercial
• environment.
• Experience of working within the Oil & Gas industry preferred
