A vacancy has arisen for a Legal Secretary to join the Employment team of an award-winning, employee-owned law firm in Exeter. Legal Secretary Responsibilities include: -
- You will be working as a Legal Secretary for several different lawyers dealing primarily with Employment matters.
- You will undertake digital dictation work.
- You will provide a high-quality secretarial and administrative service to the Employment team, picking up all aspects of non-legal adviser work.
- You will be responsible for taking and triaging new enquiries to the team, billing and credit control, supporting the team's business development activities, and diary management.
Legal Secretary Requirements include: -
- You will be an experienced Legal Secretary looking for a new challenge
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a focus on exceptional client care
- Solid administrative experience and be used to working in a busy and highly professional-driven environment
- Proficient using Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- A strong eye for detail and have a professional and helpful telephone manner.
- Commercial awareness and common sense are essential, as you will often be the first point of client contact and for enquiries from potential new clients.
- Highly organised, motivated, accurate, proactive and committed to meeting deadlines while remaining calm under pressure. You must be a team player, with the ability to work with a team across our offices
