Job Description
We are currently looking for SyntheticOrganic Chemists and Medicinal Chemists to join a growing pharmaceutical drug discovery company in Cambridgeshire.
The role:
As an Organic Chemist/ Medicinal Chemist you will design and carry out a range synthesis of target molecules for a range of drug discovery projects.
Responsibilities:
- Support several exciting drug discovery projects working across Hit Identification, Hit-to-Lead and Lead Optimisation.
- Design and carry out synthesis of novel small molecules.
- Work collaboratively within the medicinal chemistry team.
- Interpret data and write project reports
Ideal candidates will be:
PhD qualified in Synthetic Organic Chemistry or Medicinal Chemistry or have an Masters in chemistry with some industrial experience (placement year for example).
For a Senior Scientist role candidates must have previous experience working either as a Post Doc or in industry as an Organic Chemist or Medicinal Chemist.
