Job Description
We're looking for a Mobile Chemist to join our client's facility in Walsall. Our client is a leading international company who provide environmental solutions for a range of Waste, Energy, Utilities and Environmental management services.
The main purpose of this role is to visit customer sites and ensure that all hazardous waste collected is evaluated, packaged and segregated to meet Environmental regulations, policies and legal standards. You will test / analyse Commercial Waste Material and ensure the relevant documentation is in place correctly, providing an efficient collection and processing service at all times. The customers range from small businesses to large, multinational organisations and even government bodies; so effective communication and customer service skills at all levels is essential.
Essential requirements: A Scientific, Environmental or Chemistry background. HNC or Degree in related Enviro, Scientific or Chemistry subject. Valid UK driving licence as the job involves driving to sites and meeting customers across the Staffordshire area. A company Van is provided. Good communication skills to liaise with a range of customers. Knowledge of environmental or Waste Management sector would be an advantage. Strong understanding of health and safety.
