Graduate recruitment consultant- The Role

As a recruitment consultant, you will be responsible for building a desk in your specific niche market which may include, oil and gas, nuclear, mining, or renewable energies. This will need you to be an excellent communicator, self-motivated, and highly organized to help promote your recruitment brand and source both your own clients and candidates

You will begin as an associate consultant which is a 180 role:

• Meet with existing clients and learn what they are looking for
• Source candidates through advertising, networking, headhunting, and using the database
• Interviewing candidates
• Preparing candidates for interviews with your clients
• Gathering feedback from both sides
• Negotiating the best package and closing placements!
• After your first promotion you will become a consultant where your role will be 360, and so also include:
• Researching competitors
• Researching potential new clients
• Business development - calling potential clients and pitching your services
• Maintaining relationships with your clients
• The rest of the 180 side!
